As the largest,
most culturally diverse group of legal U.S. immigrants, Asian-Americans
defy stereotypes. Before involving Asian parents, educators need
to reexamine their own feelings, prejudices, and expectations concerning
these parents. Understanding Asians' unique social, cultural, and
